Waxing Aftercare Instructions
Mild redness or small bumps right after waxing can be normal. Irritation may also appear up to 72 hours later.
- Keep the area clean and hands off for the rest of the day. Avoid rubbing, scratching, or picking.
- Use only clean, fresh towels, pillowcases, and washcloths on the area. Dirty towels or unwashed hands can introduce bacteria and cause irritation or breakouts.
- Soothe gently: a cool compress for 5–10 minutes if needed. A fragrance-free aloe gel or gentle moisturizer can also help.
- For 24–48 hours, avoid hot showers or steam directly on the area, saunas, intense exercise or sweating, swimming, and heavy makeup on freshly waxed skin.
- For a few days, avoid retinol/retinoids, AHAs/BHAs, exfoliating scrubs, benzoyl peroxide, and other strong skincare products around the brows.
- Protect from the sun. Once the skin has settled, use a gentle broad-spectrum SPF 30+ when outdoors.
- If you have significant swelling, blistering, worsening pain, or signs of infection: contact us within 48 hours AND seek medical advice. If under 18, tell a parent or guardian.
